Maps / Routes:

Here is the approximate Day 1 route, pending snow or any closures

Created using Gaia GPS

Potential route for Day 2, Sierra City to Day 2 camp at Gold Lake. There are other off shoots and trails if people want to get technical. Vincent and Rob know the area rather well, and it gives the option for hiking to the top of the Sierra Buttes fire lookout (which if you haven't been is seriously cool...)

Other notes:

Trees will likely be downed, I will be bringing a chainsaw and fuel for it. Others should bring gloves, tree straps and rigging gear for removing trees if needed. I have some, but more is better

Individuals are responsible for: water / basic recovery gear / fuel / functional spare tire

As far as I am concerned, firearms are OK, but it is a group decision and talk that we will have to make sure all are comfortable with shooting on the trip

Fishing will be a thing, so if you have your license and gear, bring it. I will work hard to get us some water time
